It wasn't hard to get up and going or to figure out the controls. This does some of the craziest things and is just a fun item to have, although the dogs weren't crazy about it. The extra rechargeable battery is nice and extends the run time, but you will need regular batteries for the remote. Since the battery for the toy is rechargeable, there will be hours and hours of entertainment. It says ages eight and up, but my little six-year-old grandson had a ball using it, filling the room with wonderful giggles and squeals of delight. I don't know if the rechargeable battery was fully charged; we didn't time it, but it lasted an extended time....

Instructions were easy to set up & charge car, remote and finger/sensor prior to Christmas morning. Purchased for autistic 7 year old as a sensory toy, and 3 year old siblings. The kids played with car all day, refusing to open other Christmas gifts. Long-life rechargeable battery, and second rechargeable battery included for when hours of playtime is not enough on the first battery charge (we did not require the second charged battery Christmas Day). Music & lights accompany the car that entertains moving in 360* directions. I will buy a second car for my another kid....

I purchased this remote controlled car as a birthday gift for my 10-yr.-old grandson. His older brother, age 16, wanted to show the birthday boy how to assemble it, but the birthday boy did not want any help. He was able to convince his brother that he did not need any help assembling his gift and he was capable of playing with it without help. I know that sounds selfish of the younger brother, but the older brother is a "Mr. Fix-It."...

I purchased this remote control stunt car as a Christmas present for my 11-year old grandson who loves cars and electronics but he is very rough on his toys. They usually don't last him long. I really don't know the answers to the questions above, yet. I can come back to this review after Christmas to confirm the 5-stars but at the moment they are premature....
