Exactly as advertised. You definitely want one! The directions say to paper clip the first row after taking the loops off. If you paper clip the second row also, no loops will fall off - super easy! I love that it came with a few patterns on it. I'm having a ball making myself, neighbors and friends potholders! Not just a kid's toy!...

Even boys enjoyed making these pot holders though I had to get it off the loom. There is a knack to that. it was great fun for a rainy day and something these kids h ave never heard of in the age of video games. Nylon loos are far easier to work with yet these were cotton....
