It is fun to use. It would also be fun to set up an obstacle course with turns and small objects to climb over. The climbing can be done by rotating the wheels so that they are one set above the other, either just the front, just the back, or both. (This is somewhat shown in the video.)This RC car does have fascinating Spray Effects. although I noted only one effect (singular), and that was a fine mist of water being expelled out of the back of the car. The strong blue light around that spray nozzle does make for an interesting effect, especially in subdued lighting. To produce the spray there is a button in the center of the button cluster. Depressing it activates the spray. I noted a range, with fresh batteries, of about 150 feet. But this RC car was not designed for cross country trips and is more suited to close range, tight turns, and obstacle avoidance or climbing.Suitable age is 6 and up....
